Ficus Audrey is the calmer, more forgiving alternative to the notoriously temperamental Fiddle Leaf Fig. Its large, oval leaves are a rich, velvety green with prominent pale veining and a softer, more matte texture than most Ficus varieties. It grows upright into an impressive indoor tree with time and is significantly more tolerant of being moved, inconsistent watering, and imperfect light conditions than its famous cousin. It is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after large indoor trees available.

Good for beginners? Yes. Ficus Audrey is considerably more forgiving than Fiddle Leaf Fig. It adapts well to average home conditions and is much less likely to drop leaves when conditions are less than perfect.

Safe for cats and dogs? Ficus Audrey is toxic to pets if ingested. The sap can irritate skin. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.

Light needs: Bright indirect light produces the fastest growth and the richest leaf color. It tolerates medium light reasonably well. Avoid direct harsh sun and very low light.

Care at a glance: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Feed monthly in spring and summer. Wipe leaves occasionally to keep them clean and allow maximum light absorption. Rotate the pot periodically for even growth.
