Philodendron Congo Rojo is a bold, self-heading Philodendron that grows in a spreading, upright form rather than trailing or climbing like most Philodendrons. Its large, glossy, dark green leaves are thick and dramatic, held close together on a central stem. New leaves emerge in a deep reddish-bronze before maturing to deep green — a color show that repeats with every flush of growth. The reddish-pink stems give the plant a striking intensity that makes it look as good in a modern interior as a lush tropical one.
