Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is the fast-growing, fenestrated vine that everyone mistakes for a miniature Monstera — and it is easy to see why. Its split, holey leaves have the same jungle aesthetic as Monstera Deliciosa but on a much more manageable scale. It grows quickly, climbs eagerly, and produces new leaves at a pace that keeps even experienced plant parents engaged.
Good for beginners? Yes. Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is one of the easiest fenestrated aroids to grow. It adapts to a range of conditions, grows fast enough to show clear progress, and is forgiving of imperfect care.
Safe for cats and dogs? Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs, or explore our pet-safe plant collection.
Light needs: Bright indirect light produces the fastest growth and the most pronounced leaf splits. It tolerates medium light but fenestrations may be less dramatic. Avoid direct sun and very low light.
Care at a glance: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Feed monthly in spring and summer. Provide a moss pole or trellis to encourage climbing — it produces larger, more dramatic leaves when given something to climb. Trim as needed to control size.
Ships fresh from one of our two greenhouse locations in a nursery pot. Covered by our 30-Day Plant Guarantee — if it arrives damaged, we replace it. Free shipping on orders $149+.

This was the first time I had ever seen the Philodendron Mini Monstera and because I love all plants, the Philodendrons are my favorite. So I purchased the Mini. Although it appears delicate not as thick as the others I have, it still holds it's own. I love my new baby, stands tall and beautiful. I can't wait until she starts to fill out. Try her, you'll adore her.
