Calathea Concinna 'Freddie'

Calathea Freddie is one of the most softly beautiful plants in the Calathea family. Its long, lance-shaped leaves are a fresh, light green with a distinctive pattern of darker green zones arranged along the midrib in an irregular, painterly way. The overall effect is light and airy rather than bold, making it one of the more understated and elegant Calathea varieties. Like all Calatheas it folds its leaves gently upward each evening and opens them again in the morning.

Good for beginners? It is more forgiving than many Calatheas. With consistent moisture and some humidity it is very manageable and a good entry point into the Calathea family.
