Its round, dinner-plate-sized leaves are a soft, silvery green with broad, pale silver stripes that radiate across each leaf in alternating bands of light and dark. The pattern is subtle and elegant rather than bold, giving it a quality more like fine fabric than a plant leaf. It is widely considered one of the most beautiful Calatheas in existence.
