Calathea Roseopicta 'Medallion'

Calathea Medallion is one of the most beloved and widely recognized plants in the Calathea world. Its large, round leaves are painted in a striking combination of deep green on the outer portion and pale green in the center, with rose-pink undersides that flash color every time the plant moves. The pattern radiates outward from the center of each leaf like a painted medallion, and like all Calatheas the leaves fold upward each evening in the classic prayer plant movement.

Good for beginners? It requires more attention than beginner plants but is considered one of the more forgiving Calathea varieties. With consistent moisture and some humidity it grows steadily and rewards regular care beautifully.
