Its tall, upright sword-shaped leaves are a deep, rich green with irregular lighter green cross-banding that runs horizontally across each leaf — a pattern that gives it a wild, graphic quality unlike the more uniform Laurentii. It is architectural, bold, and virtually indestructible.
