Syngonium Strawberry is one of the most charming pink houseplants you can grow. Its arrowhead-shaped leaves emerge in a soft, warm blend of pink, blush, and cream that gradually matures to a deeper green with pink tones remaining throughout. It is compact when young, trails beautifully as it matures, and grows quickly enough to be genuinely satisfying to watch develop week by week.

Good for beginners? Yes. Syngonium is easygoing, adaptable, and forgiving of imperfect care. It is one of the best pink plants for beginners because it does not demand the high humidity that many pink-leafed tropicals require.

Safe for cats and dogs? Syngonium is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs, or explore our pet-safe plant collection.

Light needs: Bright indirect light keeps the pink tones most vivid. It tolerates medium light but the blush color becomes less intense in lower light conditions. Avoid direct sun which can bleach the delicate coloring.

Care at a glance: Water when the top inch of soil is dry. Feed monthly in spring and summer. As it grows it will begin to trail — let it cascade from a shelf or train it up a small trellis. Pinch back tips to keep growth full rather than leggy.

Ships fresh from one of our two greenhouse locations in a nursery pot. Covered by our 30-Day Plant Guarantee — if it arrives damaged, we replace it. Free shipping on orders $149+.

Botanical Name: Syngonium podophyllum 'Strawberry'

Shipping & Returns

We offer a 30-day guarentee. Fulfillment takes approx 2-4 days and shipping 3-5 days from greenhouse to doorstep. Nov-Mar we recommend adding winter plant shipping protection to your order or it will not be covered by our 30-day guarentee.

Care Instructions

Water your Syngonium Strawberry whenever the top inch of soil is dry. If the leaves start to droop, it’s likely time for a good drink.
Place your plant in indirect light. It can tolerate a wide range of light conditions, but direct sunlight can scorch the leaves.
Keep the humidity around your plant high by misting the leaves regularly.
Fertilize your plant every two weeks with a liquid houseplant fertilizer.
Keep an eye out for pests. Treat them with an insecticidal soap or neem oil.
