Tradescantia Spathacea, commonly known as Moses in the Cradle or Oyster Plant, is one of the most striking low-maintenance houseplants available. Its long, upright, sword-shaped leaves are a rich green on top with vivid purple undersides that flash color every time the leaves move. It grows in a tight, upright rosette and produces small white flowers nestled in purple boat-shaped bracts at the base of the leaves. Bold, colorful, and virtually indestructible.
